Back wall nightmare

Once the interior was pretty well gutted I started tending to the back wall of the house which was the most damaged area due to the roof covering that area failing. Luckily the main roof has held up pretty well for being neglected for so long, just a few small leaks and one small section on the front that will need to be fixed. I set up a few 4x4 posts to support the second floor so that I could begin taking down the back wall, it would have held up fine without support because the back wall was pretty much just hanging there, the timber foundation that the wall was sitting on was long rotted away. Two sides of the house sat on a timber foundation and the other two had concrete blocks, but no footings, they just placed the blocks at ground level so they were all messed up from the ground freezing and heaving the blocks year after year.

Heres some photos of the back wall process

Wall out of the way and working on digging out for new foundation

Set up a tarp so I can get some work done in the winter
